What materials are used for building Florida screen enclosures?

The most common material used is aluminum due to its durability, strength, and corrosion resistance—ideal for withstanding Florida’s weather conditions.

How long would it take to install swimming pool screen enclosures?

Installation typically takes 1 to 2 weeks depending on the size and customization, including consultation, design, fabrication, and setup.

How to maintain my new pool screen enclosure?

Pool enclosures are low maintenance. Clean with mild detergent and water regularly. Choosing aluminum ensures minimal upkeep and long-lasting condition.

Is a pool enclosure mandatory in Florida?

Yes, in many cases. Florida Building Code requires pools to be enclosed or protected with safety barriers, especially for homes with children. Screen enclosures meet this requirement effectively.

Do pool enclosures help with energy efficiency?

Yes. Enclosures reduce water evaporation and maintain pool temperature, helping lower energy and water bills during Florida’s hot seasons.

Can you install child-proof doors on pool enclosures?

Absolutely. We offer child-proof locking screen doors to enhance safety and meet code compliance, ideal for families with children or pets.

Will a pool enclosure block my view or sunlight?

No. We use fine mesh screens that maintain clear views and allow sunlight while protecting against UV rays, bugs, and debris.

Can pool enclosures withstand hurricanes or strong storms?

Yes. Our enclosures meet Florida’s strict wind-load codes and are built with corrosion-resistant aluminum and secure anchoring for storm durability.

Pool Screen Enclosures Built for Southwest Florida

Southwest Florida puts pool areas through a lot. Intense UV exposure fades lower-quality materials, afternoon storms blow in debris, and coastal salt air speeds up corrosion. Add in mosquitos and no-see-ums, and an open pool deck is hard to enjoy.

A custom aluminum pool cage or screen enclosure addresses all of it at once. Hammond Industries builds structures engineered to handle local climate demands, keeping bugs and debris out so your Naples home gets a pool area that is usable year-round.

What to Consider Before Enclosing Your Pool in Naples and Collier County

Before choosing a contractor for a pool screen enclosure in Naples FL, most Naples homeowners are weighing a few key things, including will it hold up to Florida's weather, how much upkeep does it need, and whether they can trust the company doing the installation.

On durability, look for a contractor whose structures are engineered to meet Florida's building codes and hurricane standards, not just standard screen framing. Material matters too. Powder coated aluminum framing resists corrosion better than steel, and quality fiberglass screening is built to last for years, not seasons, so you're not repairing or rescreening constantly.

Panoramic & Cage Options Available in Naples

When it comes to screen enclosure installation in Naples, FL, homeowners typically choose between two structural styles. A panoramic screen enclosure in Collier County uses minimal framing and fewer horizontal support beams, giving you a nearly unobstructed view of your yard or pool, a popular option for properties with water views or landscaped surroundings. A traditional aluminum pool cage uses a standard framed structure with visible support beams, a proven and widely used option across Collier County for decades. As a Florida pool enclosure builder, Hammond Industries designs both styles, so you can choose the one that fits your property.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are very pleased with our new screen pool enclosure. Our old one was torn apart from Hurricane Ian. Someone came within 3 days of me calling to do an estimate and told me it could be up to 4 months before they started which was the same with other companies we called. They ended up starting work within 2 months which was great. The crew was polite and kept the area clean of debris as they worked. The office staff has always been pleasant and easy to get a hold of.
